Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
