Norris Leads Piastri in Brazilian Practice
Lando Norris has outscored Oscar Piastri at all of the previous five race weekends.
The McLaren driver edged out team-mate and championship contender the Australian for the fastest time in the closing stages of practice at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
The British racer, who grabbed the points lead from Piastri by a single point after winning in Mexico City two weeks ago, topped the Australian by a mere 0.023s.
Before then, Piastri had been the leading McLaren throughout the hour before sprint qualifying scheduled for 6:30 PM GMT.
The Red Bull star, the sole remaining contender in the points battle, sitting 36 points behind Norris, ended up in 17th place as his team opted for a alternative strategy.

Tsunoda lost control over the track edges before rotating through the escape zone, and was fortunate to escape with just a minor contact of the barrier.

Hamilton wrapped up in P19, one place behind team-mate the Monegasque driver.
The McLaren pair were significantly quicker of the other competitors, with the German's Sauber P3, over half a second off the Australian's time.
The Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso was fourth fastest, with the Sauber of Bortoleto in front of the Mercedes of George Russell and the Alpine of Pierre Gasly and Williams' Carlos Sainz.
